Alliance for Georgia Educators (AGEE) – A Fictional Organization for Educator Empowerment
Welcome to the Alliance for Georgia Educators (AGEE)—a fictional organization created as part of a project designed to explore how professional organizations can support and empower educators. This site was developed to demonstrate instructional design, web development, and organizational planning skills, while also highlighting the importance of educator advocacy and well-being.
Who We Are: AGEE is a fictional, but fully imagined, professional organization aimed at providing educators across Georgia with resources, support, and a collaborative community. Although the organization does not exist, the ideas behind it represent real-world challenges and opportunities for educators, administrators, parents, and community members to unite for the betterment of Georgia’s education system.
Key Features:
Mission & Vision: AGEE was designed to offer a platform for advocating for educator well-being and professional growth. It highlights the need for collaboration among educators and stakeholders in education.
Resources for Educators: While the resources are fictional, the intent is to illustrate how an organization could provide valuable tools, guides, and advocacy opportunities for teachers and administrators.
Community Engagement: This section is meant to inspire how an organization might build a strong, interconnected network of educators, parents, and community members working towards shared educational goals.
Fictional Advocacy Initiatives: The site presents hypothetical advocacy efforts that underscore the need for better policies and support for Georgia’s educators.
AGEE is a project created to reflect my skills in instructional design, curriculum planning, and the development of educational tools and resources. Although the organization itself is not real, the issues and solutions presented through AGEE are highly relevant to the educational landscape today.
